If your agency uses Evidence.com alongside TRULEO, you know the routine: export files, download them, then upload them again, file by file, case by case.
Now it's even simpler.
TRULEO now connects directly to Evidence.com. No exporting. No downloading. No manually rebuilding a case from a folder of loose files. Your detectives search, select, and import, and TRULEO handles the rest.
Here's what it looks like in practice:
Walk away. TRULEO will notify you when the files are processed and ready to review.
Pick one case, and it lands directly in the case you already have open; no duplicate cases, no cleanup.
Pick more than one, and each additional case becomes its own case in Analyst, automatically named after the corresponding Evidence.com case. Nothing gets mixed together, and nothing has to be manually sorted afterward.
Evidence.com case still getting new files after you've already imported it? TRULEO tracks that too.
When new files show up, you'll get a notification; no need to remember to go check.
This is a one-time lift, not an ongoing task.
Head to Settings → Case Import, connect TRULEO to your agency's Evidence.com account, and run Sync Cases.
Once that's done, every detective in your department can import cases on their own; no admin required for day-to-day use.
Evidence handling shouldn't be the bottleneck between a case landing on a desk and a detective actually working it. Every minute spent moving files between systems is a minute not spent building a timeline, reviewing footage, or connecting evidence to a suspect. This integration removes that step entirely, so the work starts the moment the case is imported; not after someone finishes wrangling files.
It's a small change on the surface. In practice, it's one less reason your team's evidence workflow slows down.
Ask your agency admin to check Settings → Case Import, or reach out to TRULEO support, and we'll get you set up.
